I just read the above article about neon signs created by designer Morag Myerscough for Platform, a former swimming pool turned youth centre in Islington, London. Im a real sucker for neon signs so I had to post it! The neon poem on the outside of the building is pretty eye catching, and the 4 neons above are the signage for the eccentrically named rooms of the building.
I hadn’t heard of Morag Myerscough before so I did a quick bit of research. She runs Studio Myerscough and is mainly involved in big scale typographic work such as supergraphics, architectural signage, wayfaring, installations and exhibition design. All really nice stuff too, love seeing work on such a massive scale! She is also part of Supergroup London which seems interesting too.
More on the neon signs here.
